Abbreviations: A., Alexandrian; Cinc., Cincinnatian; Cr., Creek; E., eastern; Gol., Golconda; Incl., including; K., Kinderhookian; L., lower; Niag.-Cayug., Niagaran-Cayugan; P. Cr. Sd, Paint Creek Sand; Ren., Renault; Sh, shale; U., upper; U.P.C., Upper Paint Creek; W., western.
